European Health and Fitness Market Report 2015

In the second edition, the 2015 EuropeActive European Health and Fitness Market report presents the most comprehensive analysis of the European health and fitness industry. The report contains the most current and sound information on the main European markets, the major club operators in Europe and their recent merger and acquisition activities, as well as a snapshot of the leading equipment manufacturers worldwide. In order to provide industry shareholders with even better information on the European health and fitness market, the number of operators and markets analysed in this study have been increased compared to the previous year. Compared to the last year’s inaugural edition, the report has made significant strides with regards to the individual country profiles, as a number of selected national markets was increased from 12 to 18. The newly-added countries as Austria, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Portugal and Norway for Russia reliable market data could be retrieved for the first time. The section on the EU Eurobarometer report for 2013 was also expanded to include the additional countries. Together the 18 analysed countries account for 49.2 million members (98.2% of the European market), revenues of EUR 25.9 billion (96.7%) and 45.002 clubs (93.9%).
